Below you find some instructions about the download, but first I want to clearly state the purpose of this World Wide Web program.
- The Goal.
- I want to show you in a limited amount of time what it takes to make your own World Wide Web presence. And I want to do that for almost FREE! Thus you can see for yourself what the Internet is and if you are interested. It's a test drive.
I have resources and info ready for you that you can use to experiment. They are in this download.
This is a short cut. A fast course about the Internet, it's possibilities and opportunities. Please realize the following when you continue:
- We will use straightforward resources and (help) info to limit our time in achieving our goal mentioned above. But there are alternatives!
- You will visit some (very) good resources on the Net. Some of these sites are really BIG and you will see so many interesting options that you will click and click and click... until you end up not knowing where you are and you forgot what you were doing.
Nothing wrong here, this will happen sometime. Start all over again at the beginning of the resource and this time
try to focus on one subject.
- The whole clue about the Internet is......... You have to know WHERE to find the information you want. And
if you don't know where it is, you have to know HOW to find it. That's all.
- Reading all information that comes with this program is just a part of the Internet's game. With this information you can build your Net presence. From there it's mainly Marketing you'll have to do. If you like
our info, understand it and want to use it, you already are halfway!
OK, on with our program.
You have downloaded and saved the program on your hard disk in some directory. Use your Explorer to go to that directory and double click on the program. It will install itself.
To read the pages double click on the icon on your desktop named "Thinking".
Or go to your START-menu, choose Thinking and click on Thinking in the submenu. There you will also see an option to Uninstall the program. You can use this to erase the pages from your hard disk. (I recommend you do this when you have become a professional) :-)
In the pages there are a number of programs you can download for FREE, like Arachnophilia, Pegasus and Eudora Light.
Visit these links when you are online and follow the instructions to download these programs. Save them in a
directory on your hard disk where you can find them back.
Once offline again, use your Explorer to find the programs you have downloaded and double click on them. They will install themselves and you can start them up from your START-menu.
Please do so and explore the help information in these programs. This way you get to know them a little bit. In the "Thinking"-pages you find help information about all these programs.
