- Best Web Site Concept
- The components that make the best web site are:
- Market Research
OK, that's a big word. What I mean by that is:
a. what products are wanted, needed, necessary (on the Web)?
b. is there a market (on the Web) willing to pay for these products?
c. where can I find that market (on the Web)?
Products should fill a need, relieve a pain or make people feel happier or better in order to be wanted. Otherwise the very product is useless, unless people HAVE to use the product (like schoolbooks).
You also must have a market that is willing to pay for the product. If the price of a fantastic product becomes too
high people will NOT buy! It's as simple as that.
And third, especially important when creating a website, is where to find the market. If you sell a great food
supplement for pigeons (just comes into my mind, you may take another example), you have to be sure that there are enough people on the Internet searching for a website about pigeons.
By the way, as you will learn later on, the Internet is by far the fastest and cheapest way to test new products or
services.
Later you will learn how to test new products, FREE!
- The Product
This can be tangible goods or services that you deliver. You can sell almost anything on the Net, although it becomes very difficult with products with high transportation expenses and every day products with very low margins.
Digital products are the finest to sell on the Internet. No stock, no shipping, no packing, no reproduction costs, 24 hours a day deliverable, pay first than download, all completely automated!
Your product or service must be good, outstanding. You have to deliver something extra, something that
separates you from your competitors. And you have to define that. It's called your USP, your Unique Selling Proposition.
Later on you will learn more about USP's, products and how to create and test them dirt-cheap.
